These Cat’s Pajamas are the Cat’s Meow

Look what my "beast" friend Lisa Twining Taylor got for me as an early Christmas gift, so I could wear them between now and Christmas...

She got me the ChrisMoose slippers last year for Christmas

"We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing."

I absolutely love them!!! I'm in them nearly all the time when I'm at home. They're soooo comfortable!

And here's an unexpected benefit. For some reason, when I wear them, I feel "safer," "more protected", as if I regress to my childhood when all of the cares were taken care of by grownups.

I don't eat as much, or get hungry as often, when I'm wearing these pajamas.

Yeah, I know. It sounds CRAZY!  But it's a real thing!

I guess "onesies" really do comfort a  baby.  I know swaddling does, and that autistic individuals--young and old--feel calmer when they're wrapped up in something.

It's really kind of amazing.

So now, after Christmas, I'm going to have to look for other pajamas like these that aren't holiday-themed.

With any luck at all, I'll lose some weight, if wearing them continues to make me feel as protected and safe as these ones do.

They're truly the Cat's meow!
